Chinese Proverb on business

A Chinese Proverb on business is the topic of this blog post.

“The loftiest towers rise from the ground.” Chinese Proverb

“If you want to rise in life, you have to start from where you are right now. You are not going to instantly rise above everyone else. In my opinion what this proverb is saying is that in order to succeed you first must have a firm foundation. No building or house can stay together for very long without a firm foundation and it is the same with individuals. You need a firm foundation along with other skills in order to achieve any acceptable level of success. Anyone who thinks otherwise should not be in business, no matter how many alleged degrees they have. Just ask any successful business person and they will tell you that there are very few “overnight” success stories.” Stan Burman
