Quote by Harry Browne on the Bill of Rights

A quote by Harry Browne on the Bill of Rights is the topic of this blog post.

“The Bill of Rights isn’t some legalistic fine print. It was written to make our lives freer, more prosperous, and happier. By forsaking it, America has become no better than any other country in the world.” Harry Browne

“This is another excellent quote by Harry Browne on the importance of the Bill of Rights.  Despite what many people think the Bill of Rights was not created to allow criminals to escape wrongdoing. It was written for the reasons described in this quote.  Harry Browne is absolutely correct when he states that America has forsaken the Bill of Rights and as a result is less free, less prosperous, and less happy. I truly believe in the spirit of America as that is what made it a great country. However what I definitely do not believe in is what the government has become over the last two decades or so.” Stan Burman
