Quote by Aristotle on writing

A quote by Aristotle on writing is the topic of this blog post.

“To write well, express yourself like the common people, but think like a wise man.” Aristotle

“This is another excellent quote by Aristotle. I know that I would much rather read something whether an article or a book or something else where the writer expresses themselves in a way that makes it easy to understand but it is also obvious that the writer knows what they are writing about. Quite a few writers do not express themselves like the common people and then wonder why they are not so popular. I know that when I write anything I always try to express myself on a level that the average person can understand and relate to. Despite what some people think expressing yourself like Aristotle suggests does not detract from whatever message that you are trying to get across. On the contrary it shows that you know what you are writing about.” Stan Burman
