Robert Louis Stevenson quote on life

“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.” Robert Louis Stevenson

“I agree completely with this great quote by Robert Louis Stevenson. No thinking person can deny that the seeds that you plant now will in fact become the harvest that you reap in the future.  In order to reap a harvest you first have to plant seeds.  There are no free lunches in life.   I really like this quote because I feel it is inspirational if someone has just had a bad day when nothing seems to go right even though they have done everything that they can.  Anyone who has had a bad day should read this quotation and take it to heart. As long as you have planted enough of the right seeds during the day you will reap the rewards sometime in the future.” Stan Burman
