Quote by C. S. Lewis on the importance of values

A quote by C. S. Lewis on the importance of values is the topic of this blog post.

“Education without values, as useful as it is, seems rather to make man a more clever devil.” C. S. Lewis

“Very perceptive quote by C. S. Lewis as a lot of education today fails to include any discussion of the importance of values.  If someone has never learned the importance of values than all the education in the world will not substitute for it. A person has to learn values from somewhere or they will turn out to be simply a clever person with little or no scruples. Unfortunately due to the lack of the education system to stress the importance of values many people today are exactly as  C. S. Lewis described, a more clever devil.” Stan Burman
