A quote by Mark Twain on censorship is the topic of this blog post.
“Censorship is telling a man he can’t have a steak just because a baby can’t chew it.” Mark Twain
“Mark Twain really tells it like it is with this quote. Censorship blocks the free flow of information which is essential for any free society to function. That is why the First Amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees a free press because the founders wisely understand the evils of censorship. Sadly, even in the United States there are calls to impose censorship to one degree or another. And more extreme examples of censorship still exist in countries around the world like China and North Korea who impose censorship to control the information available to the people living in their countries. Until countries that impose censorship remove it there will be no real progress in those countries.” Stan Burman
