A quote by George Bernard Shaw on censorship is the topic of this blog post.
“The first condition of progress is the removal of censorship.” George Bernard Shaw
“Censorship has been used throughout history by dictators and despots to control the masses. George Bernard Shaw is absolutely correct in that if censorship is imposed there can be no progress because the free flow of information is blocked. That is why the First Amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees a free press. Unfortunately even today there are still countries around the world like China and North Korea who impose censorship to control the information available to the people living in their countries. Until countries that impose censorship remove it there will be no real progress in those countries.” Stan Burman
